Post Processing
No photograph is complete without post-shoot processing!
Photographers shooting with film have always fixed, developed and printed their exposures in darkrooms. Thankfully for the casual photographer today, digital cameras transparently 'develop' the exposures with a built-in processor and present a image ready for viewing. For the beginner, such picture quality could be acceptable.
However, for the artist and the creative photographer in you, we present you our masterclass on the Digital 'Darkroom', where you gain the essential knowledge and techniques to push your photographs beyond your camera's processing capability and bring out the best in your photographs.
In this masterclass, you learn the workflow and techniques to understand and correct the composition, dynamic range, colour balance, touch-up and other such factors that take your raw photographs to a higher realm of artistic presentability.
Portraiture
The human form and face have both intrigued and challenged the artist in us from times immemorial.
Portrait photography is just an extension to our quest in creating the right pictures with people. The eyes, faces, forms, expressions, lighting, colours and numerous other factors pose a challenge to photographers while making effective portraits with the camera.
In this workshop, you will learn to apply your general photography skills in the context of a portrait shoot. After a brief classroom session on fundamentals, you will shoot with models in natural and assisted lighting under the guidance of our senior photographers. You will also then learn to apply the right post-processing techniques that make your portrait photographs into pieces of art.
Studio Lighting
Lighting is a key ingredient (sometimes the lone ingredient !) of astounding pictures that draw our attention and stir our minds.
So, how about taking full control of lighting in your pictures?
This workshop will help you do exactly that - master the science and art of setting up and controlling the lighting arrangement creatively for your photographs. You will learn hands-on, shooting a variety of scenarios using our lighting equipment under the guidance of our senior photographers.
